Originated in 2018 at The Stage Door Theatre, this was intended to be an annual event. And then the pandemic happened. But we have been back each year since 2021, gathering new actors and directors along the way! We are committed to building comedy skills, looking for both experienced comedy directors and student or beginning directors to experience a unique mentoring experience.
4-5 directors and 15-20 actors are given 28-1/2 hours to concept and rehearse a. full-length comedy show? What is the result? A hilarious collection of improvisation and 2-minute, 5-minute, and 10-minute plays. Oh, and very little sleep. (Seriously!! Sleep is so overrated…) Think SNL on steroids! Material is PG-13.
